IBS is recruiting an Applications Engineer (M/F)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the state of the art and technological developments in the applications under your responsibility and produce summaries for internal teams
• Analyse clients’ technical requirements and propose suitable solutions (equipment and processes)
• Collaborate with the R&D and Engineering teams to develop these solutions
• Conduct technical demonstrations, trials, validations and performance tests
• Act as the technical point of contact for clients and proactively suggest solutions to guide them towards the most relevant options
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams by preparing application notes and presentations for client visits or conferences
• Participate in the commissioning and installation of equipment and processes at the client’s site, ensuring compliance with specifications
• Collaborate with internal teams to feed back customer feedback and adapt solutions
• Provide technical support, including assistance with integration, troubleshooting, problem-solving and user support throughout the equipment’s lifecycle
• Train internal teams and end-users in the use of the equipment
• Contribute to technical documentation, user manuals and installation guides

Profile :

Education and Training :

• Graduate of an engineering school, with a master’s degree or PhD in electronics, micro/nanotechnology or semiconductor materials science
• At least 3 years’ experience (or a PhD) with a microelectronics component manufacturer (design, process integration or performance analysis) or with an equipment manufacturer (application support)
