Ion Beam Services announced on the 15th of December 2025 the acquisition of C-Click, a specialized developer of electrostatic chuck (e-chuck) technologies. This transaction marks IBS’s first strategic acquisition and a key milestone in its long-term growth, innovation roadmap and value proposition for customers

The integration of C-Click’s e-chuck expertise with IBS’s implantation platforms will enable faster development of differentiated high-performance solutions addressing the evolving needs of semiconductor manufacturers. By combining complementary technologies and engineering know-how, the company aims to enhance system performance, process control, and overall customer outcomes.

As part of the acquisition, Mathieu BOURGARIT, CEO of C-Click, will join IBS and take a key role in strengthening research and development team efforts, ensuring continuity of innovation and deep technical leadership.
