IBS is recruiting a Process/Plasma Engineer (M/F)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise plasma processes in line with customer needs and product requirements
- Define process recipes, ensuring their robustness in production
- Support manufacturing teams during the industrialisation phases
- Analyse process deviations using statistical tools (SPC, DOE)
- Implement corrective and preventive action plans
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing processes
- Participate in customer technical reviews and provide process support during qualification phases at IBS and on-site at the customer’s premises
- Draft and maintain technical documentation
- Work closely with the R&D, production, quality, maintenance and methods teams
- Monitor technological developments in plasma, vacuum, surface treatment and semiconductor processes
Profile:
Education and experience:
- Engineering degree or PhD in microelectronics, physics, materials science or a related field
- You have 3 to 5 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing
Key skills:
- Fluent English
- Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and device physics
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (JMP or equivalent)
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Experience in a cleanroom environment
What could be a real plus:
- Experience in process development on plasma deposition or etching machines
- Knowledge of ion implantation
